Milford was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after losing to Souhegan. The Spartans came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
The Sabers extended the longest winning streak in Division III this week by beating Milford, 21-12. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
ConVal's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Riordan McCole has thrown for 217 yards this season, while Jeremy Doubleday has 12 catches for 130 yards. Chris Queen leads the league in rushing with 560 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Spartans take on Goffstown. Milford is in third place, while the Grizzlies are in fourth place.
Portsmouth took down Merrimack Valley 44-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
