Softball Recap: Woodmont Wins Going Away Against J.L. Mann

While Woodmont put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for J.L. Mann. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 14-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Woodmont has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for J.L. Mann, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodmont will welcome T.L. Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for J.L. Mann, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodruff at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
