The Pauls Valley Panthers will challenge the Vanoss Wolves at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Pauls Valley headed into their last match having not scored more than two runs for four straight, but Stratford let them put that streak behind them. The Panthers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Bulldogs on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Ryan Dennis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Logan Schaper, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tanner Perry, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Pauls Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stratford only posted an OBP of .300.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vanoss). They put the hurt on Wynnewood with a sharp 15-1 win on Tuesday. The Wolves have beaten the Savages the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Savages has come to flipping the script.
Like Pauls Valley, Vanoss also got a great game from a two-way player: Kanon Bradley. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Bradley also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Vanoss is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 7-12 otherwise. Bradley was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Cole Reeder was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Cooper Treat was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Vanoss' victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Pauls Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-20.
