With a playoff game on the line, De La Salle Collegiate rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on Roseville with a sharp 34-14 victory.
It was another big night for Sante Gasperoni, who rushed for 41 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 83 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Anthony Bitonti was another key contributor, rushing for 161 yards.
Meanwhile, everything went Mott's way against Carlson on Friday as Mott made off with a 40-19 victory.
Kalieb Osborne was his usual excellent self, throwing for 240 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 10-2.
