Fruitdale is 0-10 against McIntosh since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Fruitdale Pirates will be playing at home against the McIntosh Demons at 6:30 p.m. Fruitdale comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Fruitdale suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by Leroy 82-42. Fruitdale was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-25.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, McIntosh's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Jackson by a score of 67-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Fruitdale's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-13. As for McIntosh, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 17-3.
Fruitdale was dealt a bruising 84-34 defeat at the hands of McIntosh when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Fruitdale was down 45-13.
