Robert Grenga Delivers Best Effort of Season
Robert Grenga produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Ponaganset to the win on Saturday. Grenga threw for 119 yards and four touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown.

Pilgrim found a leader in Jacob Soulliere as the team took down East Greenwich on Saturday. East Greenwich had no answer to Soulliere as he rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown. Soulliere also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
This year, Soulliere has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 92.6 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 35 rushing yards per game.

Jerry Pimental Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Thursday, Mt. Hope got the W thanks in part to Jerry Pimental playing the best football he has all season. Pimental rushed for 203 yards while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Mt. Hope's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. They and Stafford/Somers/East Windsor will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
