Meanwhile, Jim Thorpe also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to the Spartans by a score of 64-52. Jim Thorpe has struggled against the Spartans recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Pine Grove dropped their record down to 1-18 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Jim Thorpe, their loss dropped their record down to 1-20.
Pine Grove strolled past the Olympians when the teams last played back in January by a score of 61-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pine Grove since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
