The Goliad Tigers entered their tilt with the Woodsboro Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Goliad took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 44-16 win over Woodsboro. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Goliad also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2020.
Goliad has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season. As for Woodsboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
Goliad will take on Shiner at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Shiner presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Goliad in Texas (Shiner is ranked 270th, while Goliad is ranked 1295th). Woodsboro will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Yorktown at 2:00 p.m. on December 8th. Yorktown is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
