The South Fork Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Park Vista Cobras at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (South Fork 3.1, Park Vista 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
South Fork was handed a six-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Martin County 8-7. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Emma Ortiz, who scored a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Rachel Kramer was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Park Vista entered their tilt with Spanish River on Wednesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Sharks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cobras have posted against the Sharks since March 2, 2021.

Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. South Fork hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. However, it's not like Park Vista struggles in that department as they've averaged .377. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
South Fork came up short against Park Vista in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 6-2. Can South Fork avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
