Owen Jurjavcic Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is East Palestine's Owen Jurjavcic, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jurjavcic's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 122 rushing yards dating back to last season. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 57 yards.

His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 158 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Sadly, Clayten Kersey posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Wellsville over East Palestine on Friday. Kersey threw for 154 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 46 yards.

Miller Came Up Big in Valley Christian's 34-20 Win
Deion Miller's big game helped extend Valley Christian's winning streak to six on Saturday. Nobody could stop Miller as he threw for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
This season, Miller has thrown 19 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 163.1 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 11.29 passing yards per game.
