The Walter Panas Panthers will take on the Carmel Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Walter Panas barely beat Hendrick Hudson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers put the hurt on the Sailors with a sharp 10-3 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Sam Lang was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
