The Berean Christian Eagles will take on the Concord Bears at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Tuesday, Berean Christian got the win against Campolindo by a conclusive 20-3. The Eagles have beaten the Cougars the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Cougars has come to flipping the script.

Berean Christian got a massive performance out of Ella Allardyce, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave Allardyce a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaney Smith, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Berean Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Campolindo only posted an OBP of .318.
Concord never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Mt. Diablo on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 20-1 victory.
Kendal Schaefer made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs and four RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Shay Caban, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Aaleah Hunt was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.
Concord's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Berean Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Berean Christian has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.1 hits per game. However, it's not like Concord struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Berean Christian's way against Concord in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Berean Christian made off with a 14-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
