Things haven't been easy for North Marion, and their contest on Thursday only extended their streak of losses to four. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-34 punch to the gut against Gladstone on Thursday.
Junior Mason Scheehean was the offensive standout of the match for Gladstone, as he rushed for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse Sabastian P, who racked up 13 tackles.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week North Marion take on The Dalles at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games. As for Gladstone, they will face off against Woodburn. Both of those teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
