Ferguson won against Braddock last Thursday with 18 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Southwest Eagles with a sharp 18-3 win. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Lily Berardinelli was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Berardinelli was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Amaya Santamaria and Elly Gonzalez did most of the damage at the plate: Santamaria went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Gonzalez got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave Gonzalez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda Altuve, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
