The Hirsch Huskies lost against the Julian Jaguars back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hirsch had to suffer through a rough 70-38 loss at the hands of Julian. Hirsch has struggled against Julian recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Hirsch's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Delrius Wilkins, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Wilkins has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isiah Ramos, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Hirsch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Julian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.
Hirsch will head out on the road to face off against Goode STEM Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Julian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chicago Military Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
