Moore Haven hasn't had much luck against Glades Day recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The Terriers will square off against the Gators at 4:00  p.m. Moore Haven has given up an average of 8.8  runs per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Glades Day made easy work of Lake Worth Christian  on Thursday and carried off  a  13-3 win. Considering the Gators have won six contests by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Kyler Burch was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. Burch was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in February.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Isaac Perez, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Dominick Villanueva was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Glades Day  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .533. They are 5-1 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Glades Day and  bumps their season record up to 8-10. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6  runs in those games. As for Moore Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
 Moore Haven beat Glades Day 8-4  when the teams last played  last Wednesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terriers since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
