The Riverside Frontiers will head out on the road to square off against the Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Riverside took a serious blow against Burgard, falling 74-42. While losing is never fun, Riverside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 730th, while Burgard is ranked 252nd).
Riverside's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Landon Jaeckle, who scored 13 points, and Nelson Camacho who scored 13 points. Jaeckle is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight.
Meanwhile, sadly, Buffalo Academy for Visual & Performing Arts is still looking for their first win of the season after five matches. They fell 70-60 to Christian Central Academy on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
