Christian HomeSchool extended the longest winning streak in Louisiana Christian (8 Man) this week by beating Mount Olive Christian, 46-36. The win marks sixth in a row for the Christian HomeSchool.
Northeast Baptist took down Bethel Christian 70-42 last week, the largest margin of any game. Noah Navarro threw for 380 yards and eight touchdowns and ran for 74 yards in the win.
Graydon Randol was the best wideout in the league this week as Northeast Baptist topped the Eagles. Randol tallied five receptions for 184 yards. Cooper Randol helped Northeast Baptist's passing attack out by catching nine balls for 87 yards.
Peyton Durke was the most productive running back in the league this week. In six carries, he ran for 113 yards as Harvest Time Christian Academy bested Bethel Christian. Teammate Quaylon Mongomery added to the ground attack by rushing for 98 yards.
Harvest Time Christian Academy's Durke and Spencer Duhon have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Louisiana Christian (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Durke has thrown for 756 yards this season, while Duhon, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 12 catches for 287 yards. Clinton Miller from Christian HomeSchool leads the league in rushing with 550 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Christian HomeSchool and Harvest Time Christian Academy. Christian HomeSchool enters the game ranked fourth in the state, while Harvest Time Christian Academy ranks third.
Northeast Baptist led the league in scoring this week after putting up 70 points on the Eagles. Navarro in the win.
