Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Lovelady Lions walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 50-14 victory over the Tigers on the road. The victory was just business as usual for Lovelady, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.
Lovelady pushed their record up to 13-0 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.5 points. As for Tenaha, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.
Lovelady will head out on the road to face off against Mart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mart is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Tenaha does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
