Khylee Webber was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Taitym Rankin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
