Khylee Webber was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Taitym Rankin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
Fellowship Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Weatherford Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4.
