Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Torrance Tartars, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 21-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. Torrance's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Sincere Tolbert, who rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns for Ramona. Tolbert hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games.
Torrance's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Ramona, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Torrance does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ramona will be playing at home against Pleasant Valley at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Valley is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
