The Seton Catholic Central Knights managed to keep up with the Northern Adirondack Bobcats until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Seton Catholic Central might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Northern Adirondack an easy 66-40 victory. Seton Catholic Central has struggled against Northern Adirondack recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Seton Catholic Central had strong showings from Aiden Pearl, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 19 rebounds, and Sam DeJordy, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Pearl is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.
Seton Catholic Central's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Northern Adirondack, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seton Catholic Central will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Chazy at 6:30 p.m. on December 19th. As for Northern Adirondack, they will face off against Moriah at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
