Given Liberty's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked fourth in Nevada, while Garfield is ranked 33rd in Washington), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Liberty's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andre Porter, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Tyler Bright was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Liberty and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for Garfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
