The pair will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pickens is looking to tack on another W to their 14-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Pickens scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Liberty 83-28 at home. With that victory, Pickens brought their scoring average up to 52.9 points per game.
Maggie Chambers was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The contest was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ava Owens, who scored 14 points along with nine assists.
Pickens' win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Liberty, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Everything came up roses for Pickens against Liberty in their previous meeting on Friday as the team secured a 83-28 victory. With Pickens ahead 49-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.
