The Manheim Township Blue Streaks will head out to square off against the Penn Manor Comets at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Manheim Township is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.

Manheim Township will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Friday, then bounced right back against J.P. McCaskey on Monday. The Blue Streaks were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Red Tornado. Considering the Blue Streaks have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Juleigh Bowmaster spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on ten hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Penn Manor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Kreider, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The victory got Manheim Township back to even at 8-8. As for Penn Manor, their record now sits at 10-7.

Manheim Township suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Penn Manor in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Blue Streaks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
