On Wednesday James Elliot tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The performance marked the fewest earned runs Elliot has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two hits. For the year, he has an ERA of .84 over 8.3 innings pitched.
