On Saturday, the Mount Morris Blue Devils's game was all tied up 24-24 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 55-47 win over Perry. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mount Morris also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Mount Morris' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Santini, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Santini hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Bryson Constantino, who scored 18 points.
Mount Morris is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Morris' homestand continues as they prepare to take on Wayland-Cohocton at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th. Perry will take on Geneseo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Geneseo is coming into the match with four straight defeats on the road, meaning Perry will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
