The St. Francis Indian Warriors pushed their score all the way to 62 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 74-62 to Crazy Horse. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (59), St. Francis Indian still had to take the loss.
St. Francis Indian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty Valandra-Fast Horse, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cante Kills In Water, who scored 15 points.
St. Francis Indian's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Crazy Horse, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
St. Francis Indian will play host again and welcome White River, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. White River is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games. Crazy Horse's road trip will continue as they head out to face Flandreau Indian at 10:30 a.m. on January 25th. Flandreau Indian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
