There's no place like home for St. Johns, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Charlotte Orioles a 4-0 shutout on Friday. The Redwings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Orioles, too.

St. Johns' record is now 11-9. As for Charlotte, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-9.
