The Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers will play host again and welcome the Eau Claire Beavers, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic escaped with a win against New Buffalo by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53.
Meanwhile, Eau Claire came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 69-63 win over Countryside Academy on Tuesday. The victory was just what Eau Claire needed coming off of a 53-33 loss in their prior game.
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Eau Claire, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Eau Claire in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 41-36 win. Will Our Lady of the Lake Catholic repeat their success, or does Eau Claire have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
