Mesquite lost to Eastmark back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wildcats secured a 39-34 W over the Firebirds. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.
Parker Kaczmarek had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 119 yards and a pair of TDs, while also picking up 49 receiving yards. Andrew Joiner got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
Mesquite didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Eastmark to a completion percentage of just 40%. The Wildcats weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 81.8%.
Eastmark lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kyson Lunt, who picked up 162 receiving yards and two scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaiden Virani, who rushed for 178 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.
Mesquite's record is now 5-2. As for Eastmark, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
