The St. Brendan Sabres won against the NSU University Sharks on Thursday with 54 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. St. Brendan came out on top against NSU University by a score of 54-42. The victory was nothing new for St. Brendan as they're now sitting on three straight.
St. Brendan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gianna Vindigni, who scored 18 points. The game was Vindigni's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaden Castro, who scored 14 points.
NSU University's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tatum Billie, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Billie scored a full 50% of NSU University's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kimora Exum was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
St. Brendan's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for NSU University, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
St. Brendan has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart at 3:30 p.m. on December 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart is ranked 221st, while St. Brendan is ranked 211th). As for NSU University, they will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Calvary Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Monday.
