North Nodaway/West Nodaway have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] are surely hoping to exploit.

Last Friday, East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against South Nodaway/Jefferson as the squad secured a 46-0 victory. Junior Jake McEnaney was the offensive standout of the match for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], as he picked up 108 yards on the ground and threw 3 TDs. McEnaney has now scored at least one touchdown in the past five games.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for North Nodaway/West Nodaway, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to nine. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-54 to South Holt/Nodaway-Holt. The state rankings had actually given North Nodaway/West Nodaway a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax]'s win lifted them to 6-3 while North Nodaway/West Nodaway's loss dropped them down to 0-9. East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] caused 4 turnovers against South Nodaway/Jefferson, so North Nodaway/West Nodaway will need to take especially good care of the ball.
