Brayden Collins was a standout: he got on base in six of his seven plate appearances with five stolen bases, seven RBI, and three runs. He has become a key player for North Valley Christian Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 8-15-1 otherwise. Tyler Barela was another key player, getting on base in all six of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI.
North Valley Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive games.

Francisco Vasquez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Adrian Zaragoza, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.
St. John Paul II Catholic pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for North Valley Christian Academy, their record is now 11-15-1.
Monday's match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. North Valley Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .485. However, it's not like St. John Paul II Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .469. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
