The Jackson Generals's homestand continues as they prepare to take on TERRA Environmental at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard on Wednesday.
Jackson has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 29 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Edison 71-32 at home. Given Jackson's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while Edison is ranked 750th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Jackson can attribute much of their success to Leonard Clark, who scored 23 points along with five steals, and Jordany Fils-Aime, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Fils-Aime has scored at least 25% of Jackson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincent Dudley, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, TERRA Environmental made off with a 75-74 victory over Hialeah Gardens. The victory made it back-to-back wins for TERRA Environmental.
