They were the clear victor by a 66-40 margin over Clatskanie. Winning may never get old, but Portland Adventist Academy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Portland Adventist Academy was led to victory by Trygg Patchin and Dane Petersen. Patchin scored 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Petersen scored 17 points along with seven steals and six assists. The game was Petersen's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oiver Thompson, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Portland Adventist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Clatskanie, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Portland Adventist Academy will take on Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jefferson is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Clatskanie, they will head out on the road to face off against Toledo at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
