The Denton Broncos had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They managed a 25-21 victory over Memorial. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Denton also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Among those leading the charge was LaMarques Robinson, who rushed for 206 yards. Jacobi Gladney was another key contributor, rushing for 71 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Denton's win bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Memorial, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-8.
Denton will take on Argyle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Argyle's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last five games. As for Memorial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Creekview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Creekview comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
