Jefferson's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Leto Falcons 17-2. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.
Madisen Fleming was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Amaris Dominguez was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March of 2024. Amaya Argilagos was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
