The Maplesville Red Devils typically have all the answers at home, but on Wednesday the Notasulga Blue Devils proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 61-53 win over the Red Devils. The win was familiar territory for Notasulga who now have three in a row.
Aiden Abbott and Nehemiah McCary certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Abbott scored 23 points, while McCary scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Abbott scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Wilson, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Notasulga's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Maplesville, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.
Notasulga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Maplesville also has no future games currently scheduled.
