Dwight won the last time they faced Streator and Mikayla Chambers did her part to make sure it happened again. The Trojans strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 46-28 with plenty of help from Chambers, who posted 17 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Dwight's points.

Dwight's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Streator, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Dwight will host Putnam County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Streator, they will head out on the road to challenge Manteno at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
