MAGEE, Miss. - After two lead changes,
Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, Miss.) took the lead for the win when
Blake Bass ran for a touchdown with 10:00 left in the fourth quarter and held on to defeat
Magee (Miss.) 34-20 on Saturday.
The Aggies led 14-7 at halftime, but the Trojans regained the lead on a touchdown with 7:00 left in the third.
Forrest County Agricultural also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 38-14.
The defeat comes as a step back for Magee, which notched a 33-26 victory over Morton in its previous outing. The loss snapped Magee's three-game winning streak.
Magee (3-1) will play a non-conference game against Columbia next week, while Forrest County Agricultural (2-1) will take on Purvis also in a non-conference game.
