The Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada are taking a road trip to face off against the South Brunswick Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Atlantic Collegiate Academy's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
Atlantic Collegiate Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Manning get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Tuesday. The Armada might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 11 runs or more this season.
Brooklyn Hrinkovich was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Meanwhile, South Brunswick faced Laney in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that the Cougars let down their fans at home.
Kina Davis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 15 Ks.
At the plate, South Brunswick saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savana Burgess, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Atlantic Collegiate Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. However, it's not like South Brunswick struggles in that department as they've averaged .314. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Atlantic Collegiate Academy might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from South Brunswick in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Armada avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
