For Chisago Lakes Baptist, this counts as revenge for the 32-21 defeat St. Francis Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March.
Chisago Lakes Baptist was led to victory by Becca Cave and Mariah Cave. Cave dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Cave scored ten points along with six rebounds and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Cave has scored at least 25% of Chisago Lakes Baptist's points.
Chisago Lakes Baptist now has a winning record of 2-1. As for St. Francis Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Lake Region Christian the next time they take the court. Chisago Lakes Baptist will head out to face Lake Region Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while St. Francis Christian will host them on January 5, 2024.
