The Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders will venture away from home to challenge the St. Michael's Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Round Rock Christian Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
On Tuesday, Round Rock Christian Academy got the win against Meridian by a conclusive 3-0.

Round Rock Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Lauren Woodard, who had 16 assists and three digs, and Brylie Turner, who had two aces. Woodard has been hot, having posted 13 or more assists the last five times she's played. Arden Dyess also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, St. Michael's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Antonian Prep, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since November 5, 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-9, 25-18.
Round Rock Christian Academy will have to keep a close watch on Frida Hernandez and Claire Montgomery, a pair of players who had a big impact on St. Michael's prior game. Hernandez had 18 digs and one assist, while Montgomery had eight kills and seven digs.
St. Michael's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 25-10-1. As for Round Rock Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 27-11.
Round Rock Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Michael's when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
