The Springlake-Earth Wolverines won the last time they faced the Hart Longhorns, and things went their way on Friday too. Springlake-Earth simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Longhorns 75-40 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 51-15.
Springlake-Earth had a senior duo take command as Jj Jaramillo scored 26 points along with two steals and Isaiah Tovar scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jaramillo has scored at least a third of Springlake-Earth's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Timothy Tovar, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Springlake-Earth has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Hart, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Springlake-Earth will head out on the road to face off against the Longhorns at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Lazbuddie comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Hart, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Kangaroos at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Kress focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday.
