Gage Pohlman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Batesville over Franklin County
Batesville was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Gage Pohlman did his best to prevent it. Pohlman turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 135 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Batesville's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 4-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Unfortunately for Franklin County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Pohlman. When Pohlman last faced the Wildcats back in October of 2023, he picked up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
