Softball Recap: Agawam Has No Trouble Against Easthampton/Hampshire

Agawam barely beat Easthampton/Hampshire the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Brownies were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Eagles on Tuesday. The Brownies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Alexina Lentes was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kiley Ryan, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

Agawam now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Easthampton/Hampshire, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Agawam will face off against East Longmeadow at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Easthampton/Hampshire, they will head out to face off against Westfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
