The Holland Hornets and the Ganado Indians squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Holland Hornets had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 50-22 loss at the hands of the Indians. Holland's defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Bryce Ullman, who threw for 288 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground for Ganado. Ganado also got a significant boost from Dylan Holt, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.
Holland's loss dropped their record down to 12-1. As for Ganado, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
Holland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ganado will square off against Refugio at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Refugio is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
