Cotter posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wabasha-Kellogg 75-30 on the road. With Cotter ahead 49-17 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Meanwhile, Esko scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Two Harbors on the road to the tune of 88-34. Given Esko's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Two Harbors is ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cotter's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Esko, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
