D'Arbonne Woods not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st. Everything went their way against the Union Parish Farmers as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Considering D'Arbonne Woods has won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bradley Thrash was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. D'Arbonne Woods is undefeated when Thrash posts two or more runs, but 7-14 otherwise.

D'Arbonne Woods kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Union Parish only managed two hits.

D'Arbonne Woods now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Union Parish, their loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-13.

Coming up, D'Arbonne Woods will head out to square off against Loyola College Prep at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Union Parish, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Homer at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Pelicans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.25 runs per game on average), something the Farmers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
